Kate Middleton proves you can’t go wrong in a Little White Dress, especially in the summer. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped to the Royal Ascot today elegantly donning a white lace dress by Alexander McQueen, paired with a matching fascinator and pearl drop earrings. Consider it the royal answer to “all white everything” (save her nude clutch and pumps).
The frock—which featured a tasteful high neck, sheer sleeves and a belted waist—seemed perfect for the Duchess.
Her headpiece featured delicate, beaded flowers.
And her hair was kept in a pristine low bun underneath.
Prince William looked quite dapper himself, complete with a top hat and umbrella.
This actually isn’t the Duchess’ first time sporting white lace to the Royal Ascot. She wore a similar lace look last year—her first time attending the event. However, that dress was by Dolce & Gabbana, and she opted for an off-white hat.
