Meghan Markle plastic surgery
According to Google, more people searched “Meghan Markle” in 2016 than any other celebrity name and Meghan Markle plastic surgery must be interesting thing.
The LA-born, Toronto-based actress has been the subject of much curiosity over the last few months, thanks to her budding relationship with 32-year-old Prince Harry.
Before she began dating the man who is fifth in line to inherit the British throne, Meghan, 35, was best known for her role in the legal drama ‘Suits.’
She also ran a now-defunct lifestyle blog, worked as a freelance calligrapher, and did charity work with the UN and World Vision.
With speculation brewing that an engagement announcement is on the way, let’s get to know Meghan a little better, shall we?
Meghan in 1999
Our first pic is from Meghan’s high school yearbook, back when she was 18 years old. Often, celebrities are virtually unrecognizable in these early photos, but to me, she looks exactly the same. (Well, except for one feature—her nose.) Even back then, she was straightening her naturally curly hair.
Meghan in 2006
Fast-forward to 2006, and Meghan made one of her first red carpet appearances, at age 25. How adorable are those freckles? She looks so fresh-faced, despite the generous dusting of bronzer. Clearly, this was before the big brow movement, because hers were super-tweezed and patchy. To me, her nose looks wider here, although it perfectly fits her face.
Bet Meghan wishes this job never happened! For a hot minute in 2006, she was a ‘Deal or No Deal’ girl, with the requisite big hair and tiny dress. The makeup is just as exaggerated, with false lashes, shaded eyes and over-lined lips (before that was even a thing).
Meghan in 2007
The following year, Meghan stepped out at the Globes with a brand new hair look: long, straightened and lightened to a reddish caramel hue. I wouldn’t have known this was her! The colour is really flattering, as is the minimal makeup and sprinkling of freckles across her nose. Speaking of which, it’s definitely a more prominent feature here than it is now.
Meghan in 2009
As far as I can tell, 28-year-old Meghan still had her original features here. She kept the reddish hue from the previous year, but darkened her hair a few notches. Inexplicably, her brows have been tweezed back to an even skinnier shape. You can see how her styling hasn’t quite evolved yet to the highly-groomed looks she wears today.
Meghan in 2010
I can’t believe this shot is from 2010; to me, it could easily be the early 2000s. That’s because of Meghan’s layered haircut, and again, the thinner brows. (Funny how these things evoke such a specific point in time!) She was 29 in this shot, but could pass for 10 years younger.
Meghan in 2012
After landing her role in ‘Suits’ in 2011, Meghan got the full Hollywood makeover. Suddenly, she’s way more polished, and you can tell there was a beauty team behind the scenes, helping her get ready. Although I’m not crazy about the false lashes, this is actually my favourite of her looks—the purple eyeshadow is so pretty! Her nose is looking more petite, and I’d say her upper lip is different, too (as in lumpy). Interestingly enough, I couldn’t find any red carpet photos of her from 2011… just saying.
Meghan in 2013
In 2013, Meghan showed off a deeper hair colour that reflects the light like crazy. She continued to straighten her hair, adding stronger brows and eye makeup that really help to define her face. If her upper lip had filler, it’s “settled” here.
Meghan in 2014
By this time, Meghan was 33, and really hitting her stride in the beauty department. With natural makeup and a simple updo, the extra lashes make her eyes pop. And finally, her brows are all grown in (some people aren’t this fortunate!). If you compare this shot to her yearbook pic, it’s obvious that her nose has been whittled down. Once more, I detect some bumpiness along the lower edge of her upper lip, which happens with fillers so Meghan Markle plastic surgery should be real.
Meghan in 2015
Meghan Markle plastic surgery went her for wavier hair and a tawny makeup palette at this 2015 event. Her freckles aren’t as visible, which could be due to IPL treatments or just heavier foundation in the mid-face. It’s the first shot we’ve seen of her teeth in years, and they appear brighter and whiter.
Meghan in 2016
And that brings us to Meghan’s most recent red carpet sighting. This time around, she got even more experimental with both red lipstick and smoky eyes. So it’s hard to say whether these lips were enhanced with makeup, filler or both. As for her nose, it has taken on an even more sculpted look, with significantly more definition on the tip. Could be the angle and lighting… or could be revision rhinoplasty. Personally, I find this a little heavy for my taste, but there’s no denying that she looks very glam!
When we compare Meghan’s photos side by side, the evidence is clear. At minimum, she underwent a cosmetic procedure on her nose, like so many other celebrities Meghan Markle plastic surgery is true.
“It appears that she’s had a rhinoplasty, a nostril job,” Dr. Stephen Grifka, a plastic surgeon, told the National Enquirer. “It looks like the bridge of the nose has been narrowed, along with attempts to refine the tip, which is done by sculpting the nasal cartilage. From the frontal view, it looks like a nice result.”
I agree. (Although it’s sometimes distractingly chiseled, like in the 2016 shot.) But as usual with rhinoplasties, the reshaping subtly redirects your attention to the eyes, which is always beneficial for an actress.
As for the rest of the changes? Perhaps Meghan Markle plastic surgery has dabbled with teeth-whitening, lasers, fillers and Botox, but anything that was done was definitely on the conservative side. The rest is just the natural fat loss that occurs as a woman moves from her teens into her thirties—and a whole lot of styling!
