Adriana Lima story
Adriana Lima (Brazilian Portuguese: [adɾiˈãnɐ ˈlimɐ]; conceived June 12, 1981) is a Brazilian model and performing artist, best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 1999 (being their longest-running model and named “the most important Victoria’s Secret Angel” in 2017), as a spokesmodel for Maybelline beautifying agents since 2003 and for her Super Bowl and Kia Motors plugs. At 15 years old, Lima won Ford’s “Supermodel of Brazil” rivalry, and took second place the next year in the Ford “Supermodel of the World” rivalry before marking with Elite Model Management in New York City.
Lima is at present positioned by Models.com as one of the New Supers in the mold business. Since 2014, Lima has been the world’s second most generously compensated model. In 2012, she came in fourth on the Forbes top-gaining models list, evaluated to have earned $7.3 million out of one year. In 2013, she came in third place and in 2014 she came in second place with profit of $8 million. In 2015, she came in second place with profit of $9 million. In 2016, she kept the second place with profit of $10.5 million.
Lima is the present brand represetative for the Barcelona-based dress brand Desigual, for the Beachwear gathering of Italian brand Calzedonia, and for the prepared to-wear accumulation of Italian brand Sportmax.
